Cory White is an Australian based photographer whose work owes more to the reportage style of early colour photographers of the 1950’s and 60’s than any trend driven fashion photography. Cory’s honest matter-of-fact aesthetic has a subtle retro sensibility but maintains a strong sense of the now. It’s this simple use of light and paired back production that allows White to work in a relaxed way that informs his advertising, editorial and personal work. This is best seen in his prolific portrait based side project that operates under his moniker ‘MrBlanc’.
