The Valentino Retrospective exhibition currently showing at the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane, is a must see for all fashionistas!
Developed by Paris’s renowned institution, Les Arts Decoratifs, the exhibition showcases a stunning array of Valentino Garavani’s haute couture designs from the late 1950s through to his final collection in January 2008.


Opening of ‘Valentino, Retrospective: Past/Present/Future’
The exhibition is exclusive to the Queensland Art Gallery, and has been developed by Paris’s renowned institution, Les Arts Decoratifs.
The exhibition includes a stunning array of Valentino Garavani’s haute couture designs from the late 1950s through to his final collection in January 2008, as well as recent creations by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli – Valentino’s new Creative Directors. The retrospective features 100 ensembles including some of the most import haute couture creations originally shown in the exhibition “Valentino: Themes and Variations” at Les Arts Decoratifs in 2008.
