World renowned contemporary jewellery designer, Iris Saar Isaacs, has added eleven new drawings to her label inSync design heightening the already established excitement surrounding this ever growing collection.

InSync design was initially inspired by the children’s book, Harold and the Purple Crayon by Crockett Johnson, in which Harold creates a world around him by sketching with his purple crayon.

Taking botanical and geometric drawings inSync design transforms them into wearable art in the form of brooches, bangles, earrings and necklaces.

For the first time the entire inSync design collection is available in raw stainless steel as well as the familiar four bright colours: claret, mandarin, turquoise and lime. In a bid to improve the functionality of the brooches a new closing mechanism has been employed ensuring the brooches are durable, while retaining their whimsical appeal.

Another significant change has occurred within the inSync design studio with one half of the partnership, Jane Barwick, moving on to pursue her own venture. Looking forward, Iris will continue to explore new ideas and techniques, combining industrial materials and applications with handcrafted techniques while retaining inSync’s recognizable signature line drawings and colourful aesthetics.

With the power of knowledge and experience, along with her enthusiasm and commitment, Iris will continue to blur the boundaries between art, craft, design, fashion and business applying the same creative energy and vision in the exploration of future opportunities.
