Entries close this weekend for the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award 2010, Australia’s richest and most prestigious design prize.
Bombay Sapphire continues to support the Australian design community through rewarding and assisting Australia’s most talented emerging designers. The award is judged by a committee of industry leaders providing invaluable networking and mentoring opportunities.
The program is dedicated to:
• Recognising and rewarding excellence in design
• Improving and promoting awareness of design within Australia
• Increasing the commercial potential of talented Australians

To be a contender in the competition entries must:
• Push the boundaries
• Be original ideas
• Be work that can be promoted as authentically Australian and that reflects that unique positioning in the world
• Be resolved so that it can be manufactured and retailed

First Prize
• $30,000 + flights and accommodation to Milan to attend the Salone Del Mobile International Design Fair
4 Runners up
• $2,500 each
5 Finalists
• $1,000 each
