James Hargraves is a Melbourne based designer. He trained in Mechanical engineering & Industrial Design, but has worked mainly in multi-media. After winning two awards at Melbourne Fringe Furniture 2009 with his E-Rosen Bench, he has since focused his sights on Furniture Design.
Recently, one of his pieces was selected as a finalist in the LAUNCH PAD show that runs as part of Saturday in Design 2010. James is an enthusiast of digital modelling and manufacturing techniques, and in divining a formal language of design through “truth to processes”.
