Industrial designer Jason Bird is the founder of Luxxbox, a design studio based in Brisbane. Using unconventional materials, industrial finishes and the influence of negative space, Bird’s “products embody a uniquely Australian influence which is being appreciated across the globe for its refreshing take on modern, cutting edge design.” Luxxbox’s designs range from a variety of commercial and domestic products committed to supporting local and Australian manufacturers. Bird recently presented his collection at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York, U.S.A.
