The Autumn/Winter Finders Keepers Market is on next month at CarriageWorks in Sydney’s Inner West. The markets are aimed at promoting upcoming independent designers and artists from various creative fields. And because they switch the range of products and stalls at every market, be sure to always find something different and new.
Co-directors Sarah Thornton and Brooke Johnston have announced their first round of designers from a selection of categories that include jewellery designs, fashion, paper and fabric, brooches, toys and homewares. The markets will feature free live music from Sydney’s independent music community and a cafe and bar open all day. Below is just a taste of the designers showcasing this year in Sydney.
FIRST ROUND OF DESIGNERS ANNOUNCED!
Dreamers and Believers (NSW)
The ‘Mad Hatters Tea Party’ features such works as coloured pom poms necklace chains, which can be styled individually.
White Square (WA)
Making their debut at the Finders Keepers, Unique FIRST ROUND OF DESINGERS ANNOUNCED! wooden laser cut brooches, necklaces and magnets.
Blinking flights (NSW)
Individual, one off toys made from high quality new and vintage fabrics.
Hideyo (TAS)
Paper and fabric creations from eco-friendly materials and recycled goods.
Temono (VIC)
Leather goods label including wallets and accessories that stands for quality and originality.
